Hi, I’m Andrew.
I’ll be using this blog to help reinforce my learning by writing technical posts about programming and development, side projects I’m working on and possibly share the occasional tech/gadget related article.
Prior to changing career from the public sector into technology, I attained a degree in music composition. I often find myself using musical analogies and tenuous parallels between programming and composition to aid my understanding of topics. Maybe this can be my niche in the vast ocean of dev blogs…
(e.g. passively watching that coding tutorial and expecting to absorb it is about as useful as watching your favourite band and expecting to learn that tricky guitar solo.)
Also, if the posts help anyone else understand a topic, or provide any value, that’s a nice bonus!
